A new bill in the state Assembly would ruin restaurant food and baked goods as we know them.
In a deeply misguided gesture that is also an abuse of the legislative process , a New York City Assemblyman is pushing a nanny-state bill that would ban the use of all forms of salt in the preparation and cooking of all restaurant food.

There is no way a chef or home cook could add as much sodium to a dish as the processed fare has hidden in it.

That’s really smart. I can think of no better way to put restaurants out of business than to do something as foolish as this.
It’s the salt in processed food that’s bad. And even then, if you don’t have health problems it’s not an issue.
The guy must be a moron. Maybe he should be force-fed industrialized, processed foods.
